Confuzzled emotions.

So many things happened to me today and overall…it was an AWESOME day! I will start with the good.

I recieved $1,500 worth of scholarships in the Poly music department. One of which was given to me by the school specifically for the rising classical singer of the department. Dr. Levine handed it to me and said “I expect great things from you.” That truly means a lot to me because she doesn’t sugar coat anything. It’s a sign that my hard vocal work is finally paying off (no where near done working hard though!) I finished a HUGE portion of work (2 projects to be exact) and I feel so relieved to get those out of the way. My sister is graduating High School today…yes…my baby sister :D I am so proud of her and how much she has grown and matured. God willing, there is a college that teaches people with disabilities general music and things of that nature. I hope she gets in! I also get to perform Rock Lobster from family guy as a trio with two of my best friends as my final for my guitar fundamentals class. I was practicing it today and I felt like such a cool person. hahahaha! It was great!

The rough parts of today….some of my best friends are graduating and they are leaving. I have grown so close to some of them and it just sucks that I won’t really see them too much anymore. I started to listening to Sleep (yes Eric Whitacre but the version of the Poly Chamber Singers…which we kicked MASSIVE musical butt in!) and I almost cried because I will miss Doreen so much. Dora and Diego adventures will cease to be :( But that’s just the way life is.

So yes….good day…only a preview to how AMAZING summer will be. If it is not awesome, I will make it awesome for myself :)
